Problem solved. Nvidia’s beta drivers have issues. Reverted back to 306.97 and all is well.

All of the multiplayer maps are tiny and way too congested for any more than 8 players.

Spartan Ops is extremely laggy most of the time if you’re not the host, which causes many otherwise avoidable deaths.

They sure didn’t optimize the game very well, either; the framerate drops to unplayable fairly often.

That said, I’m quite disappointed in Halo 4’s multiplayer. It’s a step back from previous games.

On top of that, it rewards those players with even more snipers, rockets, and spartan lasers via the ordnance system.

Halo 1-Reach all had great balance between long and close-range combat. Halo 4 seems to encourage players to hang back, camp, and snipe.
